Our verdict on Theatre Royal panto? It's FAB-U-LOUS!

PANTO may be for the kids, but the best of the bunch also have the power to bring out the inner child in all of us.

The Theatre Royal's 2025 panto, Cinderella, certainly seemed to wow adults and children alike on its opening weekend.

The theatre has pulled off quite a coup in getting Craig Revel Horwood as its celebrity this year, with the Strictly Come Dancing judge inevitably bringing with him a huge star power that will help to pull in the crowds.

If any Strictly fans are heading to Cinderella fearing that the writers won't have leaned much into the nationally treasured show, they not to.

This panto doesn’t merely lean into its star’s Strictly status, but squeezes in as many glitter balls and “FAB-U-LOUS” catchphrases as humanly possible.
