More premium lodges for Center Parcs as occupancy rate goes up

CENTER Parcs is planning to add more premium lodges after a busier year for its resorts - even though higher administration costs hit profits.

The New Ollerton-based network of holiday villages recorded a profit after tax of £63.7 million in the year up to April. For the most recent financial year Center Parcs (Holdings 1) Limited, which operates its five sites across the UK but not all of its business, reported a profit of £80.3 million, according to the company's financial filings.

In documents submitted to Companies House the firm, which recently applied to make changes to its original resort in Sherwood Forest, outlined it had made a series of key decisions over the last year.
