Jesus backed to get on goal trail for Forest

DYCHE'S PRAISE AFTER STRIKER RATTLES CITY

HEAD coach Sean Dyche is certain Igor Jesus will soon back up his impressive performances for Nottingham Forest with plenty of goals.

The Brazilian striker has quickly adapted to life in English football and put in another standout showing in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City. Although he did not get on the scoresheet, he set up Omari Hutchinson for the Reds' equaliser and got under the skin of the visitors' defence.

Jesus has scored a combined tally of six goals in the Europa League and Carabao Cup but has found the back of the net only once in the Premier League. Dyche is confident patience will pay off as the 24-year-old continues to develop but felt he did not get sufficient protection from the officials against Pep Guardiola's title challengers.
