STEPHEN WARNOCK claims Gerard Houllier blocked his return to Liverpool because he was jealous.
Warnock started his career with the Reds before leaving in 2007. After a spell with Blackburn Rovers he ended up at Aston Villa where he played under iconic ex-Liverpool boss Houllier (inset), who passed away in 2020.
He wanted a transfer after a disagreement and his boyhood side were set to take him back. But his Anfield homecoming never materialised and Warnock thinks Houllier was to blame.
