Jail for man who abused girlfriend for 18 months

A MANIPULATIVE abuser has been jailed for four and a half years after subjecting his victim to 18 months of abuse.

Tracy Hercules, 27, of no fixed address, was first investigated by detectives when his victim was hospitalised after an argument on October 28, 2024.
The victim had asked Hercules to leave her home in Radford as she was going out, and following an argument, he strangled the woman and refused to leave.
The controlling behaviour spanned an 18-month period, from July 2023 to November 2024.
