IMAGINE having your fondest memory rendered in miniature - that’s the premise of Sara Cox’s new show where professional model makers bring places, people and special moments to life. Childhood is a popular theme and this second episode of the new series sees Sara and the team recreate a 1980s East London classroom.

As well as enjoying the craftsmanship on display, viewers will be moved by the human stories featured.

For Sara, today’s episode was particularly poignant. “Karim and his secondary school left a lasting impression on me,” she says. “He was brought up with the backdrop of the National Front in Britain, suffering racism and abuse. School, for him, was a place of safety.
