E-scooter rider arrested on suspicion of drink-driving

POLICE have issued a warning after the rider of an electric scooter was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
-
The 19-year-old was detained in Ilkeston Road, Radford, at around 3am yesterday after a collision involving a taxi.
The scooter had been rented earlier the same evening. Around 1,300 e-scooters were made available by the council at the end of March.
