FULL THROTTLE APPROACH WILL STAND US IN GOOD STEAD, SAYS MIDFIELDER

- By SAM ALLEN

WORKHORSE midfielder Scott Robertson can feel momentum building at Notts County following their latest league victory away at Cheltenham Town on Monday night.

The Magpies shot up to third in the table with their fourth win in five league games, with Robertson an instrumental part of Martin Paterson's side, who are growing in confidence with every positive result.

Notts raced into a two-goal lead on Monday, playing some of the best football under Paterson to date, and they had to show a different side to their game after the break as a rejuvenated home side fought back.

On the latest win, Robertson said: “I think it was a decent performance, especially in the first half, with the way we moved the ball, which was probably the best we've shown in that department all season.
