County Santander branches that will open for just three days a week

SANTANDER will slash the hours of five Nottinghamshire branches, opening them for just three days a week.

The high street banking giant this week announced plans to shut down 95 of its 444 bank branches and trim the opening hours at some, leading to a loss of 750 jobs.

It will transform 18 of its remaining branches into counter-free banks, while another 36 will have their operating hours reduced. Five branches in Nottinghamshire will have their opening hours significantly reduced from June 30, opening three days a week.
