Mayor calls on residents to saddle up for a hoedown

RESIDENTS of Barnstaple are being urged to polish their cowboy boots and saddle up for a toe-tapping evening of country music - all in aid of two local charities.

The town's annual Mayor's Charity Hoedown will take over Barnstaple Pannier Market on Sunday, May 4, from 4pm to 9pm, promising a packed line-up of entertainment for attendees aged 12 and up.
