Hospice team proves soapbox ‘flipping' fun day for all

BATH tubs of beans, a piece of cheese on wheels and Doctor Evil were among the colourful entrants who helped make Bideford Soapbox another standout success this year.
Thousands of hay bales helped turn the town’s high street into a dream race track for soapboxers on Sunday.
With more than 30 teams taking part, the spectacle was fun for onlookers and participants and also helped raise money for a good cause.
