In abig development, the World Boxing (WB) has formed an interim committee with Boxing Federation of India (BFl) president in it. This after the BFI has failed to conduct its election on time (their four-year term got over on February 2-3).

The sports ministry usually gives a federation three months to conduct elections and that time is nearing an end. Without elections they are facing de-recognition by the ministry as well.
