IndusInd promoter and Invesco form AMC partnership

IndusInd Bank's promoter, IndusInd International Holdings Ltd (IIHL), and Invesco Ltd have completed the formation of their joint venture for the asset management company (AMC) as of 2 November. IHL and Invesco will now serve as sponsors of Invesco Asset Management Co. India.
The formation of the joint venture follows ITHL's 60% acquisition of Invesco Asset Management Co. India, with Invesco Ltd retaining remaining 40%.
A sponsor is the principal entity backing an AMC.
