A 'fan of Modi', Tesla CEO says he's 'incredibly excited' about the country's future
NEW YORK : Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk lauded India’s potential after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that the Prime Minister encouraged him to make “significant investments" in the country. Musk said he intended to do so and was waiting for the right time.
Musk, who described himself as a “fan of Modi", said he was “incredibly excited" about India’s future.
He indicated that he would bring Tesla cars to India “as soon as humanly possible" and was looking forward to getting Starlink, the satellite internet service operated by SpaceX, to the country.
Musk, the world’s wealthiest person, is the chief executive of Tesla and SpaceX, the chairman and chief technology officer of Twitter, a co-founder of Neuralink, and the founder of Boring Co. and X Corp.
