Foxconn, Motherson, Tata lead mobile parts push

According to Meity, Foxconn’s project is expected to create 16,210 new jobs, while Tata's plant will create 1,500 jobs.

Motherson, through its wholly owned subsidiary Motherson Electronic Components, will employ 5,741 people at its plant to set up mobile enclosure manufacturing, the ministry said.

Their respective individual investments were not broken down at the announcement.
