High above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, a journey through Mürren and Schilthorn unfolds as an experience of stillness and adventure, where the Swiss Alps inspire awe, clarity and memories

Perched high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, Mürren is a car-free village that feels suspended between earth and sky.
Wooden chalets, flower-lined balconies and sweeping mountain panoramas create a setting that is both intimate and quietly exclusive. Here, the air feels noticeably cleaner, the pace of life slows naturally, and the silence carries a deeply restorative quality.
For Neeraj, Mürren was more than picture-perfect scenery. Wandering through its peaceful lanes, he discovered something increasingly rare: stillness. Without traffic noise or urban urgency, the village offered space to breathe, reflect and simply be present. It became a pause before the ascent ahead, a moment of calm that set the tone for the journey into the higher Alps.
THE ASCENT: ENGINEERING MEETS EMOTION
Connecting the valley floor to Mürren and onwards towards Schilthorn is the world’s steepest cable car, a remarkable feat of modern engineering. Rising sharply through the alpine landscape, the newly opened system transforms transport into an experience in its own right.
