Hero's scooter and motorcycle sales grew 0.3% in the quarter—the weakest growth since July-Sep 2022 period
Hero MotoCorp, India's top motorcycle maker by volumes, reported a bigger-than-expected rise in third-quarter profit on Thursday, helped by higher sales of its mid-level models such as the 'Xtreme 125R'.
The firm's profit increased 12% to ₹1,203 crore in the three months to 31 December, topping analysts' average estimate of ₹1,125 crore, according to data compiled by the London Stock Exchange Group.
