Automaker Eicher Motors reported a better-than-expected quarterly profit on Thursday, helped by strong demand for its premium motorcycles and commercial vehicles.

The company, which makes Royal Enfield motorcycles, clocked a profit of ₹1,205 crore for the quarter ended 30 June, compared with ₹1,101 crore a year earlier.
