Marico Eyes Robust FY25 Revenue Gain

The second half of FY25 saw inflationary pressure on material inputs, said MD and CEO Saugata Gupta

- PTI

Home-grown fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) major Marico expects to deliver double-digit revenue growth in fiscal year 2025 (FY25) helped by a sequential improvement with price hikes and better volumes, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) Saugata Gupta said.

However, he said that as far as profitability is concerned, there was inflationary pressure on material inputs in the second half of FY25 and Marico's operating margin should be in the "broad region of 20%," helped by a strong and institutionalized cost management system.

"If you look at the volume growth trajectory every quarter, we have sequentially improved. I think the way we look at it is that we should be able to deliver double-digit revenue growth. Our aspiration is to deliver top quartile volume growth," Gupta told PTI.
