Avendus launches third pvt credit fund

The asset management arm of Avendus Group, Avendus PE Investment Advisors, on Wednesday launched its third private credit investment vehicle targeting to raise more than double the capital secured for the last vehicle, with the first close expected next month, VCCircle has gathered.

The asset manager is targeting to raise about ₹2,000 crore for the vehicle and green shoe option of similar size for the fund—Avendus Structured Credit Fund III (ASCF III). The vehicle is registered with Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) as a category-II alternative investment fund (AIF).
