Teves now in PH custody

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remula on Thursday afternoon, May 29, said that expelled Negros Oriental congressman Arnolfo A. Teves Jr. is now in the custody of the Philippines and "we will bring him home so that he can face the charges.
In an interview, Remulla said the “extraction team” sent to take Teves in Timor-Leste is led by DOJ Assistant Secretary Eliseo DC Cruz. He is accompanied by representatives from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
