The Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council) approved Resolution No. 263-2025 in a special session following the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC).
“The devastating rain and flood caused the evacuation of people, destruction and damage to lives, properties, agricultural crops, livelihoods, and various infrastructure,” said the Roxas City Council.
The declaration will enable the city government to tap into its quick response fund for relief and rehabilitation efforts.
