MPD confirms killing of 2 Japanese in Malate ordered by ‘Boss’

The Manila Police District (MPD) on Wednesday, Aug. 20, confirmed that a Japanese mastermind known as “Boss” ordered the killing of two Japanese nationals in Malate, Manila on Aug. 15.

According to the police, the arrested suspects, brothers Abel and Albert, revealed that they were ordered by a Japan-based individual they identified as “Boss” to kill the victims identified as Akinobu Nakayama, 41, and Hideaki Satori, 53 for P9 million.
The victims were shot dead by the suspects after alighting from a taxi in front of a hotel in Malate. Abel and Albert immediately fled the scene on board a motorcycle.
The suspects claimed they were just given P10,000 as initial payment for the crime.
Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso presented the two suspects to the media at the City Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 19.
