Manila Bulletin
|August 29, 2025
Updated styling, tech, and features
The much-loved Xpander and Xpander Cross are ready to continue to serve with new looks, upgraded interiors, and added technology to better pamper Filipino families. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has rolled out the latest version of its bestselling multipurpose vehicle that has been one of the most popular family vehicles in the country since its debut. The refreshed lineup offers four variants, all carrying improvements to styling, convenience, and safety.
Refined styling
On the outside, the Xpander receives a new front and rear bumper treatment. On the Xpander GLS variant, the familiar angular Dynamic Shield front remains the same size, but the grille now features fine-groove intake slits, while the upper central section has been given a cleaner appearance. The lower front valance has been reshaped into a more aggressive design while retaining its original outline.
On the Xpander Cross, the bumper maintains its overall look but the lower central valance now incorporates gray vertical blocks for a stronger, more rugged presence. The grille pattern has also been revised with more pronounced hexagons for a bolder effect.
