Marcos: No Filipino will be left without a home

President Marcos vowed that his administration "will not stop working" until every Filipino family has a home they can call their own, underscoring housing as a central pillar of his "Bagong Pilipinas" agenda.

Speaking at the National Housing Expo 2025 in Pasay City, the President said the government remains committed to expanding and accelerating the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program to reach more families nationwide.

"As long as there are Filipinos who dream of owning a home, the government will not stop working," he said Thursday, Oct. 23. "No one will stop working. No one will be left behind in Bagong Pilipinas."

The Chief Executive called the housing expo—organized by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD)—a showcase of government-private sector collaboration in addressing one of the country's most persistent social challenges.

"Today, we reaffirm our dream that every Filipino family will have a safe, decent, and permanent home," he said.

Land titles for long-time settlers Marcos also announced the distribution of land ownership certificates to residents of Los Baños, Laguna; Lucena City; Iloilo City; and Caloocan City, marking what he called "a long-overdue victory" for families who have lived for years on government land.

"At last, the land where you have long been living will formally be yours-land you can finally call your own," the President said.
