La Union distributes poll paraphernalia

The provincial government of La Union (PGLU), through the Provincial Treasurer's Office (PTO) and the Commission on Elections (Comelec), started distributing official ballots, accountable forms, and other paraphernalia to all towns in the province on Sunday, May 4, for the elections on May 12.
Provincial Treasurer Janet Molina and Comelec-La Union Election Assistant Marku Dominik Lavaro led the ceremonial unsealing and opening of the delivery truck containing the election paraphernalia at the provincial capitol here.
PGLU and Comelec received 840 official ballot boxes and 20 boxes of indelible ink, followed by a thorough inspection and immediately turned them over to local government units (LGUs).
