Gov't asked to prioritize calamity victims over ghost projects
Manila Bulletin
|October 14, 2025
Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go urged the national government to channel its resources toward helping victims of recent natural disasters instead of wasting public funds on alleged ghost projects and flood control programs being milked by a few.
-

Go said Sunday, Oct. 12, that he personally experienced the strong earthquake in Davao Oriental on Oct. 10 while attending the inauguration of a Super Health Center in Don Marcelino town in Davao Occidental.
He said that he and his team felt the ground shake during the event but continued their activities to serve needy residents.
