Gov't adds new projects to PPP

Three major projects — 2 focused on air navigation, telecommunications, and earth observation — worth a combined P63.6 billion have been added to the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) pipeline, bringing the total to P2.61 trillion.
Documents shared by the PPP Center with reporters on Friday, June 20, showed that the value of projects in the PPP pipeline decreased by 1.1 percent to P2.64 trillion from April.
Projects included in the entire air navigation services in the Philippines cost 31.56 billion. This package was proposed by a consortium of ComClark Network and Technology Corporation, JG Summit Infrastructure Holdings, and Asia’s Emerging Dragon Corporation.
As of writing, the implementing agencies — the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) — are still assessing the proposed national project.
