Estrella refutes vote-buying charges

Pangasinan sixth district congressional candidate Gilbert Estrella has denied allegations of vote-buying hurled against him by incumbent Rep. Marlyn Primicias-Agabas.

Estrella described it as baseless and malicious accusation.

He urged the Commission on Elections to swiftly dismiss the complaint.

Estrella described the allegation as a desperate act of political mudslinging aimed at salvaging a faltering re-election campaign.

He urged the electorate to critically examine the press statements released by Agabas regarding her claims of alleged massive vote-buying.

Estrella emphasized that the public is in the best position to judge the credibility—or lack thereof—of such accusations.
