The Embassy of India in Manila commemorated the 79th Independence Day of India with a vibrant celebration held on Aug. 15, at India House. The event began with a solemn flag-hoisting ceremony led by Ambassador Shri Harsh Kumar Jain attended by members of the Indian diaspora, dignitaries, and friends of India.

Ambassador Jain warmly welcomed the guests and read the official address of President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, delivered to the nation on the eve of Independence Day.
