DPWH: Stricter load limit on Dimasalang Bridge takes effect

Heavier vehicles are now prohibited from using the Dimasalang Bridge in Manila as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) started implementing the revised load restrictions at the vital structure on Saturday, June 21.

In a report from the DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office, the agency said the adjustments were made following inspections and load testing that led to a recalibration of the bridge’s allowable weight limits.
