Cops brave 2-km mountain trail to bring patient to hospital

The call for assistance was to bring a female patient to a hospital using a police vehicle, but the responding cops did not expect that the patient is unable to walk and that the house is not accessible to vehicles.

But the personnel from the 1st Mountain Province Provincial Mobile Force Company (MPPMEC) did not mind the steep mountain trail.

Inthe absence of an ambulance and any vehicle that can make the transportation easy, the policemen, led by Police Executive Master Sergeant Darius Wanawan resorted to the old ways of transporting patients—“Ambulansya de Paa.”
