Cops bag P42-M smuggled cigarettes

The Philippine National Police confiscated smuggled cigarettes valued at P42 million and arrested 10 individuals in four separate operations in Luzon and Mindanao.
PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Director Police Major Gen. Nicolas Torre III said the operations were part of the campaign against smuggling and counterfeit products and were based on confirmed intelligence reports on the ground.
