Police Regional Office-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Josefino Ligan said people can call for police assistance at world-famous Boracay Island by dialing 911.
Ligan walked on the famous stretch of white sand beach at the country’s most famous beach destination in Malay town of Aklan province over the weekend and personally distributed 911 emergency cards to tourists, workers, and residents.
