3 Justice Zones set in Eastern Visayas to enhance fight vs sexual abuse

Three specialized justice zones (JZs) will be launched in Eastern Visayas on Nov. 5 to enhance the government's fight against sexual abuse and exploitation of children.
The JZs will be inaugurated in Tacloban City, Ormoc City, and Calbayog City by the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) composed of the Supreme Court (SC), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
A JZ is where judges, prosecutors, law enforcers, and representatives of local government units (LGUs) meet on common interests, coordination, and information sharing in the dispensation of justice.
