3 drown in Batangas on Good Friday

Three individuals, including a four-year-old boy, drowned on Good Friday in the towns of Bauan, San Nicolas, and Agoncillo in Batangas.

The Police Regional Office 4-A identified the victims as Zash Alissandro Monsales, four, a resident of General Trias, Cavite; Ferdinand de Castro, 45, married, of Barangay Malitam, Batangas City, and Romel Jayupelin, 33, single, of Victoria Ville, Barangay Rosario, Pasig City.

Monsales was playing in a private swimming pool in Barangay Poblacion, San Nicolas, at about 7 p.m. when he drowned.
