Ras with a 'point to prove' after Nap move
Manchester Evening News
|November 06, 2025
OUT-ON-LOAN United striker Rasmus Hojlund is playing with a point to prove at Napoli following his summer transfer window move - according to one expert on the club.
The Dane was not expected to depart this summer. However, when Benjamin Sesko pitched up at Old Trafford, Hojlund’s position changed.
M.E.N. Sport understands that Hojlund was keen to stay at the Reds. But, that stance altered because of the World Cup at the end of the campaign and the pressing matter of gaining minutes to make the Denmark squad.
