New comedy festival brings the stars of TV, radio, stand-up and improv to Rochdale

Get ready for 10 days of laughter beginning this month, as the first ever Rochdale Comedy Festival brings a mixture of big names and rising stars to the borough.

Robin Ince, Mick Miller and Tez Ilyas will be among the familiar faces from TV, radio and the comedy circuit to perform at a selection of fascinating venues, such as the 100-year-old Curtain Theatre and the iconic Champness Hall, as well as sports clubs, pubs, and bars.

On Tuesday, September 30, the majestic Rochdale Town Hall will play host to Robin Ince, the co-host and creator of the Sony Gold Award-winning BBC Radio 4 series ‘The Infinite Monkey Cage.
