Moves to install junction cameras to be debated

PLANS to install new cameras at problem junctions in Stockport are moving forward, as part of efforts to improve road safety and stop drivers breaking the rules with yellow box junctions and restricted turns.

One of the initial locations is the junction of Bramhall Lane and the A6 in Stockport town centre

Last year, the council was given new powers to enforce moving traffic offences and drew up a list of locations where there are known issues on the roads.
