Investigation into death of arrested man

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following the death of a man in GMP custody.
Graham Beaumont 'lost consciousness' in a police van on the way to a station.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has launched a probe into the death of the 41-year-old.
Mr Beaumont 'died in hospital after falling ill while in the custody of Greater Manchester Police' following being arrested on the evening of October 31, the office confirmed. He was arrested after 'the vehicle he was travelling in was stopped by officers.
