House ripped apart by mini-tornado to go up for auction

DAMAGED THREE-BED PROPERTY HAS GUIDE PRICE OF £72,000
A CRUMBLING house that was destroyed when a 'mini tornado' ripped through a Greater Manchester town last year is now set to go up for auction.
The end-terrace property in Stalybridge in Tameside was among those that were severely damaged during Storm Gerrit in December 2023.
Trees were uprooted, cars were wrecked and residents were forced to evacuate overnight when the 'tornado' struck just before midnight on December 27.
It hit several areas within the town, but Hough Hill Road was the worst affected, with the roofs of two adjoining houses blown off.
