COUNCIL DEFERS DECISION AT FIERY MEETING
PLANS to build Greater Manchester's tallest skyscraper in Salford have been deferred by the council after a fiery planning meeting.
Councillors voted to defer the decision to gain more information on several major concerns, with six votes in favour of this, and three against.
A decision to approve yesterday would have given developer Henley Investment Management the right to build up to 3,300 homes across ten tower blocks at the northern part of Regent Retail Park.
