MANCHESTER United welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Old Trafford this afternoon looking to build upon a positive start to 2025.
United kicked off the year with a 2-2 draw away at league leaders Liverpool before going to Arsenal in the FA Cup and winning via a penalty shoot-out. They continued their unbeaten start to 2025 on Thursday when a 12-minute hat-trick from Amad Diallo earned a 3-1 win over Southampton in the Premier League.
The three points lifted Ruben Amorim's side up to 12th in the Premier League table, but still nine points adrift of the European places and 12 points behind fourth-placed Newcastle in the race to qualify for next season's Champions League.
