China issues 2nd property rights registration certification for uninhabited sea islands

The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the south China issued its first "ID card" for uninhabited sea islands on Monday after it completed property rights registration for a local sea island.

Guangxi is home to a large number of uninhabited islands. Local survey shows that the cities of Qinzhou, Beihai, and Fangchenggang together have 632 such islands. Longyandun Island, located in Beihai, has become the first uninhabited island in Guangxi to register its property rights
