A moment that will be remembered for years to come, St Helens delivered what could be considered the greatest rugby league try ever witnessed on Saturday evening.

The Saints ended Leeds Rhinos’ season in spectacular fashion, advancing in the playoffs with a try that has already been dubbed ‘Left to Wright’.

This incredible play occurred 25 years to the week since the legendary ‘Wide to West' try, and it was executed under similar dramatic circumstances.

As the final hooter sounded and Leeds fans began their celebrations, St Helens remained composed.

The 16-pass sequence that followed was no accident; it was a masterclass in discipline and positioning.
