ROVERS HOPE TO MAKE PRENTON FACTOR COUNT AGAINST LEAGUE HIGH-FLIERS MK DONS THIS AFTERNOON
AM Finley has called upon his Tranmere Rovers teammates to rise to the occasion when they face League Two high-fliers MK Dons this afternoon.
The Dons currently sit in third place and boast the division’s best record away from home, losing only one of their eight matches on the road this season.
However, Finley believes Rovers can lift their game to compete with Paul Warne’s side.
He said: “Personally, when you are playing a team who are up there and you are trying to challenge to get there, I always feel like I rise to the occasion and hopefully we do on Saturday.
”T am looking forward to the game tomorrow. I think these are the games we tend to perform in - when not much is expected from us.”
Tranmere will arrive at Prenton Park in a good vein of form, following home victories against Blackpool in the Vertu Trophy and Cheltenham in the league.
They will be looking to make it three wins in a row for the first time as Rovers boss Andy Crosby believes recent results have set his side up well for this weekend.

Gunned down - but Blues now have their own 30 years of hurt
IT was the year that Baddiel and Skinner sang 'football's coming home' as England hosted the European Championship. But in the same way they wouldn't predict that '30 years of hurt' was going to at least double for the Three Lions, it could now also apply to Everton winning in front of fans at Arsenal.
