Branch goes running through the darkness

FORMER Everton forward Michael Branch is hoping to spark conversations around mental health through a gruelling Christmas challenge.
The 47-year-old is embarking on a run every night of Advent - the distance of which is being determined by the date.
His effort will finish with a 24km run on December 24 - having started with a one kilometre run on December 1.
Every run will take place in the dark to symbolise the dark places those in need of help from James’ Place, the charity he is fundraising for, find themselves in.
