'A SPACE FULL OF HOPE' IN BEBE'S MEMORY
Liverpool Echo
|May 09, 2025
THE parents of one of the three children killed in Southport last year have announced plans to honour her name.
-
Six-year-old Bebe King died alongside Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, during the knife attack on July 29 last year.
In the months since, work has been carried out to ensure all three children are remembered for the happiness they brought to the people around them. Now, Lauren and Ben King, the parents of Bebe, have launched Bebe's Hive, a community interest company (CIC) with the aim of providing a safe place for children and families to grieve.
Along with Elsie’s Story - launched by Jenni and Dave Stancombe - Lauren and Ben will be raising money for “a safe place for little hearts to create, connect and heal after loss”.
