FESTIVE FUND-RAISERS: The Santa Fun Run and Steps' Christmas party

MANAGERS of a charity have thanked everyone who supported its events during the holidays.

The Christmas party for Steps was “a big hit, especially as Santa managed to find the time to drop in with a present for everyone”.

Hundreds of people also dressed up, gathering in Ashby’s Bath Grounds for the annual Santa's Fun Run.

Janet Russell, volunteer at the Shepshed children’s charity, said: “Every year, as Christmas approaches, the children who attend Steps look forward to all of the exciting things that happen at this time.
