CHANGE COULD HELP WITH PARKING PROBLEMS
PART of a cafe and retail development which villagers claim has caused a parking nightmare will be turned into office space instead of a previously planned soft play centre.
The site, pictured, in Loughborough Road, Mountsorrel, is home to a cafe, called Public, and children's clothing shop, Claude and Co.
At its latest meeting, Charnwood Borough Council's planning committee approved a request to change the permitted use of one of the site's units to an office.
